Daniel S. Schwartz
Chief Executive Officer

Daniel Schwartz was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Restaurant Brands International Inc., and a director of the Company, in December 2014. From June 2013 to December 2014 Mr. Schwartz served as CEO of Burger King. From April 2013 until June 2013, he served as Chief Operating Officer and prior to that, Mr. Schwartz served as Chief Financial Officer of Burger King Worldwide, Inc. and its predecessor. He joined Burger King Worldwide in October 2010 as Executive Vice President, Deputy Chief Financial Officer and was later appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Schwartz joined 3G Capital in 2005, where he managed the private equity business until October 2010. In January 2008, Mr. Schwartz became a partner at 3G Capital.

Matthew Dunnigan
Chief Financial Officer
Matthew Dunnigan was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Restaurant Brands International Inc. in January 2018. Prior to that, Mr. Dunnigan held the position of Treasurer, where he took on increasing responsibilities and successfully led RBI’s capital markets activities. Before he joined RBI, Mr. Dunnigan served as Vice President of Crescent Capital Group LP, from September 2013 through October 2014, where he evaluated investments across the credit markets. Mr. Dunnigan also spent three years as a private equity investment professional for H.I.G. Capital.

Mr. Dunnigan is a director of Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc., Burger King’s largest franchisee in the US.
Joshua Kobza
Chief Technology and Development Officer

Josh Kobza was appointed Chief Technology and Development Officer of Restaurant Brands International Inc. in January 2018. Before that, Mr. Kobza was RBI’s Chief Financial Officer, beginning December 2014. Mr. Kobza also served as Chief Financial Officer of Burger King Worldwide from April 2013 to December 2014, and served in other roles of increasing responsibility within the finance area since joining Burger King in June 2012.

Prior to his quick service restaurant experience Mr. Kobza worked at SIP Capital, a Sao Paulo-based private investment firm, where he evaluated investments across many industries and geographies. From July 2008 until December 2010, Mr. Kobza was an analyst in the corporate private equity area of the Blackstone Group.

Duncan Fulton
Chief Corporate Officer
Duncan Fulton was appointed Chief Corporate Officer of Restaurant Brands International Inc., in June 2018. Mr. Fulton was previously the President of FGL Sports, Senior Vice-President, Communications and Corporate Affairs for Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC), Chief Marketing Officer for FGL Sports and Mark’s and General Manager and Senior Partner of international communications company Fleishman-Hillard in Toronto.

Prior to his agency experience, Mr. Fulton served as a communication advisor and spokesman for several political leaders, including former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien, Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty and New Brunswick Premier Frank McKenna.
Jill M. Granat
General Counsel

Jill Granat was appointed General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Restaurant Brands International Inc. in December 2014. Prior to that, Ms. Granat served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Burger King Worldwide and its predecessor, as well as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of Burger King Corporation. Ms. Granat joined BK’s legal department in 1998 going on to hold increasingly more senior roles with the company.

Heitor Gonçalves
Chief People and Performance Officer
Heitor Gonçalves was appointed Chief People and Performance Officer of Restaurant Brands International Inc. in December 2014 and assumed oversight for global supply and distribution in April 2017. Prior to that, Mr. Gonçalves was Executive Vice President, Chief Information and Performance Officer and Chief People Officer of Burger King Worldwide and its predecessor.

Before joining BK, Mr. Gonçalves served in multiple strategic roles for Anheuser-Busch InBev, including Global M&A director and Head of Western Europe Logistics. Mr. Gonçalves also served as VP, Global Rewards at InBev and held positions of increasing responsibility at brewing company Brahma, and its successor AmBev.
José Cil
President, BURGER KING
José Cil was appointed President of Burger King in December 2014. Before that, Mr. Cil served as Executive Vice President and President of Europe, the Middle East and Africa for Burger King Worldwide and its predecessor for four years. Mr. Cil also served as Vice President and Regional General Manager for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in Florida, Vice President of Company Operations for Burger King Corporation and Division Vice President, Mediterranean and NW Europe Divisions, EMEA for a subsidiary of Burger King.

Mr. Cil is a director of Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc., Burger King’s largest franchisee in the US.
Alexandre Macedo
President, TIM HORTONS
Alexandre Macedo was appointed President of Tim Hortons in December 2017. Prior to that, Mr. Macedo served as President, North America for Burger King, where he led the turnaround of the BK business. Mr. Macedo joined Burger King in July 2011 as Senior Vice President, Marketing, North America and also held the position of General Manager for the U.S. franchise business.

Prior to his quick service restaurant experience Mr. Macedo was founder and partner of True Marketing, a Brazilian-based marketing consulting firm. He also worked at Brazilian brewing company AmBev, where he was head of the Brahma Beer business unit.
Alexandre Santoro
President, POPEYES
Alexandre Santoro was appointed President of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in March 2017. Prior to that, Mr. Santoro held the role of Chief Supply Chain and Operations Officer for RBI, where he was responsible for Global Supply Chain, Quality Assurance and Global Operations.

From April 2002 through March 2015 Mr. Santoro also held a number of strategic roles at America Latina Logistica, including CEO for two years.
